Fayetteville to hold 47th annual International Folk Festival

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The International Folk Festival is coming back to Fayetteville for it’s 47th time.

On Friday, September 26, the city will have it’s Cool Spring Downtown District’s Fourth Friday. There will be live cultural music, dances and much more. The Arts Council of Fayetteville will also be open for it’s opening of a new exhibit titled, ‘Multi-Faceted: Mixed Media and Connected Identities’.

On Saturday, September 27, there will be the Parade of Nations at 10am. Over 25 nations will be celebrated with over 1,000 people marching. Afterwards, there will be over 24 food vendors serving traditional cuisines at Festival Park. Food from places such as Thailand, Liberia, Venezuela, Ghana and more will be present…
