Rosie’s Pizza & Pastries opened its doors in January at 104 N. East Railroad in Roseboro and has quickly developed a loyal customer base. Named for the town it serves, the pizzeria is a hit amongst locals and visitors alike.
Buffy Brashear, the determined owner of Rosie’s, has weathered setbacks, staffing struggles and county red tape to give Roseboro something it was missing, a local pizza place delivering quality food to the community.
Brashear’s background is in floristry and interior design, so owning a restaurant has proved to be a fun new challenge. Brashear’s journey to opening a restaurant began with her cousin, Judy Stone, whose experience running pizza restaurants inspired the focus on pizza.
