Aberdeen dispute leads to drug, weapon charges

A Raeford man is facing charges after Aberdeen police investigated a report of a possible domestic dispute between a man and a woman and the man “brandishing a firearm” at the Circle K gas station in Aberdeen.

According to the Aberdeen Police Department, the man was reported to have left the scene in a “late-model Chevrolet truck,” and a license plate number was provided. Aberdeen investigators then began investigating and conducted a welfare check at a residence on Pinebluff Lake Road near Highway 15-501.

The suspect was identified as Luciano Cazares-Baltazar, 35 years of age, of Raeford. He was found inside the truck at the property, as described by witnesses…
