A two-vehicle crash near STARS Charter School sent two people to the hospital Tuesday morning, according to Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue.
The crash happened just after 7:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 1 South at Southern Dunes Drive.
In a post on the fire department’s Facebook page, fire crews reported moderate damage to both vehicles. Neither had occupants trapped inside, and the vehicles were left sitting in the roadway while crews worked.
An adult female driving an SUV suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to the post. A minor inside the same vehicle complained of neck pain.
