Fayetteville Residents Urged to Test Smoke Alarms as Daylight Saving Time Ends

The Fayetteville Fire Department in North Carolina is reminding residents to test their smoke alarms and change batteries when daylight saving time ends on Sunday, November 2. Fire Chief Kevin Dove said working smoke alarms can help save lives. He noted that most home fire deaths happen in homes without working alarms.
