Downtown Dunn is a little bit sweeter thanks to Coffee on Broad by Erwin Mills Coffee Company. The coffee shop has rapidly become a community cornerstone, all thanks to the passion of owners Seth and Angela Gundersen.
The couple began with the launch of their coffee brand, Erwin Mills Coffee Company, in 2021. Initially, they sold their coffee in a local shop called Inspirational Grounds, but they wanted to expand further. In October 2022, they began operating Erwin Mills Coffee Trailer. The trailer allowed them to keep overhead costs low while reaching more customers, testing their concept and building brand recognition.
The success and revenue from the trailer helped them open their brick-and-mortar shop, Coffee on Broad, which officially opened on Feb. 21, 2024. The trailer was retired around the time the physical café became their main focus…
