A man is dead, and another is in custody after a shooting at a Fayetteville motel Wednesday night.
Around 6:10 p.m., police officers responded to a reported shooting at Motel 6 in the 3700 block of Bragg Boulevard. They found Perry Sykes, 47, of Fayetteville suffering with a gunshot wound.
Sykes was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he died from his injuries…
