The Cumberland County Public Library has updated its visitor guidelines effective Nov. 1, the county said in an Oct. 27 news release.
The updated guidelines, adopted by the Library Board of Trustees, aim to ensure the county’s eight library branches remain inclusive, accessible, safe and comfortable for all visitors, the release said.
“Our libraries are community spaces where everyone belongs,” Public Library Director Heather Hall said in the release. “These updates ensure every visitor, whether a student, parent, job seeker or neighbor seeking warmth and connection, can feel comfortable and respected.”…
