Cumberland County, North Carolina, will open a White Flag Shelter and several warming centers during the week of December 8, 2025. This is a joint effort with the City of Fayetteville and local partners due to expected below-freezing temperatures.
The White Flag Shelter will operate on December 8, 9, 11, and 12 at the Cornerstone Christian Empowerment Center in Spring Lake. It will be open from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Shuttle service and meals will be provided.
Warming centers will be available at several locations.
