Daniel Rister has been named Chief Innovation & Technology Services (ITS) Director for Cumberland County, North Carolina. County Manager Clarence Grier announced the appointment and noted Rister’s experience in county government technology. Rister has worked for Cumberland County for 26 years. He started in the Department of Social Services in 1999 and joined ITS in 2012.
Rister has held roles in application development, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital service delivery.
