On Monday, the Fayetteville Redevelopment Commission presented its 2024–2025 annual report to the Fayetteville City Council. The report included updates on affordable housing, economic development, and community engagement. Over the past year, more than 150 new affordable housing units were added. The Commission also completed 28 emergency and critical home repairs for local homeowners.
Economic development efforts supported more than 50 small businesses. These initiatives led to 67 new jobs and helped retain 117 positions. The Commercial Exterior Grant Program awarded a $25,000 grant to Kraken Customs for sidewalk and pavement upgrades, resulting in 11 new jobs.
