FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — The Marching Bronco Xpress at Fayetteville State University is heading to Atlanta to make history.
FSU’s marching band has earned a spot on the national stage to compete for the title of the ESPN 2025 Red Lobster Band of the Year at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Friday night. This is FSU’s first appearance since the competition began three years ago.
The 125 member marching band is one of the two finalists in the division of two HBCU category. ESPN ranks HBCU divisions throughout the football season.
