NORTH CAROLINA — One man is dead and another was injured following an early morning shooting in Fayetteville on Sunday, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 4:30 a.m. on Cliffdale Road. Police said that when officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Photographs released by police indicate the shooting may have occurred at a gas station along Cliffdale Road.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His identity has not been released and will be withheld until next of kin are notified…
