RED SPRINGS — More than 120 winter hats, thoughtfully hand-knitted and prayed over by members of the local community, were distributed last week to students at Peterson Elementary School.
Every student in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and the Exceptional Children Services (ECS) program received a hat, ensuring young learners stay warm during the winter months and feel the care and encouragement of their community.
