A vehicle fire destroyed an older model car Saturday morning on Crains Creek Road in Cameron, according to Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue.
Crews were dispatched just after 11 a.m. and arrived to find a fire in the engine compartment that was spreading into the passenger area, the department said. All occupants were safely out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived.
