RAEFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — Hoke County deputies are looking for a convicted felon — who is on federal probation — after a raid of his home on Wednesday led to the discovery of seven guns, officials said.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning when a search warrant was executed at a home in the 1300 block of Loop Road about six miles northwest of Raeford, according to a Hoke County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The search warrant was obtained after officers went to the home to locate 38-year-old Monelle Terrod Harris, who had outstanding arrest warrants and is an absconder from federal probation, the release said.
“During the search, detectives located a total of seven firearms [that] were seized from the residence, two of which were from the bedroom belonging to Mr. Harris,” deputies said…
