RED SPRINGS — Antoinette Locklear Hurtt was named as the new Police Chief for the Town of Red Springs, the town announced in a press release Monday.
Hurtt brings more than 15 years of dedicated law enforcement experience to the role. A native of Robeson County and a member of the Lumbee Tribe, she has personal and professional ties to the community. Hurtt is a former North Carolina State Highway Patrol Officer, Detective, and North Carolina General Instructor. She also worked with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, Hope Mills, Hamlet, and Spring Lake in various roles.
