A Wendell woman now faces a felony charge after she allegedly fatally struck a Fort Bragg soldier while high last summer.

Kendra Elaine Starr Ingram, 33, was originally charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle and reckless driving with wanton disregard in the July 12 crash, court records show. She was arrested Wednesday on an upgraded charge of felony death by vehicle after a grand jury indicted her Sept. 23.
