Narcotics search lands 3 in jail on drug manufacturing charges, Cumberland County Sheriff says

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Three people are behind bars as a result of a narcotics search in Cumberland County, according to the sheriff’s office.

In a news release from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday evening, deputies searched a home in the 100 block of Enoch Street which resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Jerry Lee McRae Jr., 32-yaer-old Marqucia Alecia Byrd, and 32-year-old Malik Zamir Davis-Johnson.

McRae Jr. is charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule I controlled substance, maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, manufacture schedule I controlled substance, manufacture schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a scheduled II controlled substance, and possession of a firearm by a felon, according to police.
