New details released after 2 brothers shot dead in ‘self-defense’ at Mac’s Speed Shop in North Carolina

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Fayetteville police are releasing new details about adeadly shooting at a popular restaurantthat left two brothers dead over New Year’s weekend.

Police responded to a double shooting at Mac’s Speed Shop on the night of Jan. 3 that resulted in the deaths of 45-year-old Daniel Nakamoto and 43-year-old Timothy Nakamoto.

According to the Fayetteville Assistant Police Chief Todd Joyce, the incident began with an argument inside the restaurant that escalated into a physical fight.
