ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) — North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP) is investigating after a woman died after being struck and killed by a car in a hit-and-run just after 7:30 Saturday night on Highway 71 near McInnis Road just west of Red Springs in Robeson County, according to First Sgt. S.B. Lewis.
Lewis said an on-scene investigation determined a car and a moped were traveling east on Highway 71.
