FAYETTEVILLE — The Lumberton High School boys swimming team won the Tri-County Conference championship at Thursday’s championship meet, held at Fayetteville State University.

Lumberton finished with 369 points, narrowly beating Cape Fear, who finished second with 363. Purnell Swett scored 74 points to finish fourth.

Lumberton’s girls finished second, earning 315 points. Cape Fear won the girls team competition with 384 points and Purnell Swett finished fifth with 31 points…
