Police say Fayetteville man charged in deaths of mom, two adult children

A Fayetteville man has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder after an altercation led to the shooting deaths of a woman and her adult children Sunday night near Hope Mills Road, police said.

The Police Department said in a Jan. 26 news release that officers responded to reports of shots fired at about 9:35 p.m. Jan. 25 on the 5200 block of North Sumac Circle.
