A missing man from Red Springs was found dead inside a car at a rural cemetery near the Shannon community. Robeson County authorities are treating the case as a homicide. Deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office discovered the body while assisting Red Springs police following a report of a suspicious vehicle. The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is also involved in the investigation.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Michael Graham. He was last seen around 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, driving a 2016 Ford Fusion in the area of Old Lowery Road in Red Springs, according to the Charlotte Observer.
Investigators Urge Residents To Check Cameras
Detectives are asking residents and business owners near Old Lowery Road and Fodiesville Road to review any doorbell or security camera footage from the time Graham went missing, in case it captured suspicious activity.
According to WMBF, investigators are urging anyone with video or information that could help the case to contact law enforcement.
