MAXTON — An informational meeting is set for Tuesday in Maxton regarding Energy Saver NC, a program to help eligible households to lower their energy bills.
The regional meeting for Robeson, Scotland, Hoke and Richmond counties will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Renaissance Event Center, located at 107 West Central Street in Maxton.
The program recently expanded to include all 100 counties in North Carolina. Residents can apply for rebates to lower their electricity costs by making their homes more energy efficient. Statewide, more than $200 million is available for home efficiency upgrades…
