SMITHFIELD — A Benson man faces multiple charges after his arrest Monday by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
In a magistrate’s order obtained by The Johnstonian News, deputies allege Khai Daugherty, 29, of Stone Creek Road, “unlawfully, willfully and feloniously did assault and inflict physical injury, by choking the victim by strangulation, by causing the victim to lose breath.”
