BENSON — Two members of the Benson Middle School community were recognized for service and leadership during the Benson Area Chamber of Commerce’s A Night to Celebrate banquet Feb. 26.
Teacher Franklin Ruiz was named the 2025 Benson Area Chamber Teacher of the Year, while school resource officer Jaclyn Kliest received the 2025 Benson Area Chamber Police Officer of the Year award.
