BENSON — A Benson man faces multiple trafficking and related charges after a joint investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement agents led to the seizure of alcohol, drugs, cash and illegal gambling equipment Wednesday.
According to a magistrate’s order obtained by The Johnstonian News, authorities allege Danny Bruce Allen, 66, of 884-C Dragstrip Rd., was identified during the execution of a search warrant at the property. The investigation stemmed from community complaints about suspected drug activity and illegal gambling at the location, officials said.
