A celebration of life for Dr. Menno Pennink, who passed away on March 14 at age 90, will be held at 4 p.m. on May 6 at Cape Fear Botanical Garden in Fayetteville.
Dr. Pennink, a retired neurosurgeon, was known for his decades-long commitment to revitalizing downtown Fayetteville. He invested in restoring historic buildings along Hay Street, supported the arts, and helped bring modern medical technology to local hospitals.
