Moore County deputy kills person in shooting in downtown Cameron, NCSBI investigating

CAMERON, N.C. (WNCN) — The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation said they have started an investigation into a deadly officer-involved shooting in Moore County.

According to a social media post, a deputy responded to an incident around 11 p.m. Saturday in downtown Cameron near Now & Then Antiques on the 420 block of N.C. Highway 24-27, also known as Carthage Street.
