Fayetteville State University Chancellor Darrell T. Allison is marking five years at the helm with a look back at how the university has grown. Since starting in March 2021, Allison says FSU has added more than $200 million in new construction, including a health and wellness center, residence hall, and College of Education building. Enrollment has climbed from about 5,600 students in 2021 to roughly 7,600 in 2025, with a goal of reaching 8,000 by fall 2026.
