Earlier this month, Cumberland County officials asked the county’s legislative delegation to consider a $92.5 million state allocation, with funding for E.E. Smith High School emerging as a talking point.
On March 19, Cumberland County commissioners met with the county’s delegation in the General Assembly, which includes Sens. Val Applewhite and Tom McInnis and Reps. Mike Colvin and Charles Smith and Diane Wheatley. Rep. Frances Jackson was not in attendance.
