Camels finish as co-champs at Cutter Creek

SNOW HILL, N.C. – Joachim Larsen Tegner was the individual runner-up, and Campbell shared the team title with Elon after Sunday’s final round of the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate.

A junior from Lier, Norway, Larsen Tegner produced his best collegiate finish and completed the 54-hole event at 7-under par 209 (67-72-70). William Carr of Elon made a 20-foot birdie putt on the par-five 18th hole to win the individual title at 8-under (72-71-65—208) and draw the Phoenix (275-302-278—855) level with the Camels (276-297-282—855) atop the team leader board at 9-under.

Co-host East Carolina was third at seven-under, while Harvard (+10) and Fairleigh Dickinson (+14) rounded out the top five in the 14-team field…
