I-95 North closed in Harnett County after tractor-trailer crashes, catches on fire, officials say

DUNN, N.C. (WNCN) — Emergency crews and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol are working to clear the scene of a fiery crash that has closed a major highway early Sunday morning in Harnett County.

An alert from the North Carolina Department of Transportation notified drivers that I-95 north was closed due to a crash around 2:15 a.m. at mile marker 73.
