The ongoing widening of N.C. 211 (Aberdeen Road) in Hoke County will require a cross street to be closed for about two months.
An N.C. Department of Transportation (NCDOT) contractor plans to close Montrose Road at N.C. 211 beginning Monday. Workers need to reconstruct the intersection to the new grade for the highway, which is being widened to four lanes with a raised median.
