City expands tennis and pickleball opportunities with court improvements and additions

This week, Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation (FCPR) started construction at Tokay Park to replace the existing six tennis courts, which have reached their lifespan, with three tennis courts and 10 pickleball courts.

The City of Fayetteville is continuing a citywide investment in tennis and pickleball, improving existing courts and building new ones to expand access to the two sports for residents and visitors.

In 2025, Lake Rim Park was the first to complete tennis court refurbishments. Mazarick Park is next, with refurbishments planned in the coming months. Both parks remain open for tennis while work is underway at Tokay Park, and pickleball courts are available at Rowan Park and Massey Hill Park…
