Tractor Flips Off Marion County Embankment, Killing 56-Year-Old

A 56-year-old man was killed Sunday evening when the tractor he was using for maintenance went off an embankment and overturned in Marion County, according to state troopers. The crash happened around 7 p.m. near NE 21st Ave Road, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol responded and has opened an investigation into what led up to the incident.

According to FOX 35 Orlando, troopers said the man had been performing maintenance on the tractor when it went over the embankment and overturned. No other vehicles were involved, and the victim was identified only by his age.
