Shootout at Southern California party sends suspects fleeing into desert

A party in San Bernardino County this weekend turned into a shootout, sending two groups of suspects, including juveniles, fleeing through the desert when authorities arrived.

Deputies responded to a shots-fired call in the 16800 block of Ukiah Street in Victorville around 10:40 p.m. Saturday, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
