EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 45-year-old El Paso mother was arrested Friday as authorities are accusing her of using false documents to visit her son in jail on Mother’s Day.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, Nancy Alvarez was arrested after she allegedly altered government records and used a public investigator status to visit her son at the Jail Annex, located at 12501 Montana Ave., in Far East El Paso.
The Sheriff’s Office said detectives were first dispatched to the jail on May 12 after hearing reports of a woman being suspected of falsifying documents to enter the facility…
