A two-vehicle crash just north of Denver International Airport left one person dead and four injured Sunday afternoon, Colorado State Patrol said.
The crash, which took place just before 3 p.m. Sunday, involved a westbound Chevrolet Silverado and eastbound Ford F-150 on 120th Avenue near North Powhaton Road, CSP said in a Sunday evening news release.
Authorities believe the Silverado was driving westbound when it traveled into the eastbound lane, forcing the Ford to move onto the shoulder in an attempt to avoid the car, according to the release. While that happened, the front left bumpers of the cars hit each other…
