BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A Florida man faces dozens of felony charges after an investigation into a suspected fraud ring in Buncombe County.
Willie Harold Johnson of Monticello, Florida, was arrested May 20, 2026, and charged with six counts each of financial card theft, financial card fraud, obtaining property by false pretenses and identity theft, along with one count of trafficking in stolen identities.
