Food trucks leave festival over organizer’s online statements

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Some food trucks left early from Sunday’s Food Truck Festival in Evansville after comments from one of the organizers.

Hill-Billy’s BBQ says it was their first time at the event. They tell Eyewitness News after noticing a small crowd, they began looking into the event online.

The owners say they found social media posts calling for a boycott of the festival over past comments made by organizer Joe Notter regarding the LGBTQ community…
