KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Mostly cloudy overnight with scattered rain, some of which could be heavy at times. Temperatures fall to the upper 60s with east winds at 5 mph.
A Flood Watch is in place until 3 am Tuesday for portions of East TN, mainly south of I-40 for additional rounds of heavy rain tonight. With heavy rain rates, we could see some areas of localized flooding, especially in areas that have already seen a good amount of rain from the weekend.
TUESDAY: A few scattered morning showers early, followed by spotty showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours. Warm and muggy with highs in the low 80s.
