A customer has been sentenced after refusing to pay his bill at a restaurant in The Villages.
Paul Greer Szymanski, 76, who lives in the Water Oak community in Lady Lake, has been placed on six months probation after pleading no contest this past week in Sumter County Court on a charge of trespassing.
He was at Darrell’s Diner at Southern Trace Plaza at about noon April 4 when he refused to pay his bill, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Szymanski claimed the restaurant was violating an unspecified federal law…
