Spotty storm today, widespread storms and flood threat Wednesday

HOUSTON (CW39) – Southeast Texas stays warm and mainly quiet through most of Tuesday, but rain and storm chances ramp up overnight as the next system moves in from the west.

Wednesday is the main day to watch.

Houston and all of Southeast Texas are under some level of isolated flood risk. Some spots could pick up 1 to 2 inches of rain, with isolated totals of 3 to 5 inches where storms train over the same area.
