AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Richmond County Sheriff’s Office will conduct joint training exercises on Tuesday at the Dogwood Terrace Apartment Complex off Old Savannah Road.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit and Special Weapons and Tactics Team will begin training at approximately 8 a.m. and conclude during the afternoon hours.
Residents and businesses in the surrounding area may hear loud booms and observe a heavy law enforcement presence during the training. The sounds and activities are part of planned training scenarios, and there is no threat to public safety…
