MADISON COUNTY, Ala. — A temporary water outage and lane restriction are planned Wednesday in northeast Madison County as crews work to make system improvements, according to the Madison County Water Department.
Beginning at 8 a.m., water service will be temporarily shut off for customers along Jordan Road from Spring Farm Road south to Ryland Pike. The outage will also affect Abbottsford Road, Gaylord Drive and Season Lane.
In addition to the outage, eastbound traffic on Jordan Road at Abbottsford Road will be reduced to one lane during construction. Drivers are being urged to use caution and expect delays in the area.
