FARRAGUT, Tenn. — In a fiery letter to Farragut Mayor Ron Williams, Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler accused the town’s leader of lying in a TV interview regarding concerns about law enforcement presence in Farragut.
On May 11, WBIR interviewed Williams about concerns after KCSO moved out of their precinct in Turkey Creek in October. Williams wrote a letter to Spangler in March, and said the sheriff wasn’t returning calls or showing up to meetings about the issue.
