Two Lancaster men charged in connection to stolen handgun used in suicide attempt

LANCASTER, Pa. — Two Lancaster men are facing charges following a police investigation of a stolen handgun used in a suicide attempt earlier this month.

Lancaster Police began investigating on May 5, when the resident of a home on the 600 block of West Orange Street used the weapon in a suicide attempt after officers arrived to conduct a welfare check.

The officers quickly began lifesaving measures, and the victim ultimately survived the attempt after being transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said…
