‘New Palafox’ enhances Pensacola dining and pedestrian experience

DOWNTOWN PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A five-month vision finally brought to life as the City of Pensacola announces the near-completion of ‘New Palafox,’ with pedestrians finally able to walk and bike down the street.

The local business owners along both sides of the street couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out.

“We’re sitting back in pure amazement of what they’ve done,” Owner of Dog House and SalTerra, Nathan Holler, said. “We knew it was going to be transformative to Pensacola, but we didn’t know if we were going to make it through the construction period.”
